    1. This is an area that most of us, being so close to our school, have or will pass at some point. It seems to me like left turns leaving there should be prohibited since they have caused multiple car accidents now and many injuries along with the death of Reinzan. Since this is so close this is one of the stories that makes me realize things like this could happen to me or people I am close to.

  3. This isn't news that you would find in the newspaper or anything similar to that, but I thought I would just share what is happening to a really close friend of mine. Her mom was diagnosed with cancer awhile back and she hasn't been doing so well lately. Recently, the cancer moved up to her brain. Doctors say that she doesn't have much longer to live, and it's kind of difficult to believe in miracles when you've never really experienced one. Taking this class has really helped to cope with this type of situation and helped me realize that we could seriously die at any moment. It's kind of crazy to think about and depressing as well, but I guess that's life.

    1. A good friend of mine recently lost her mother to breast cancer a few months ago. I grew up with this family so it was very hard for my family as well. My friend recently said that she was finally coming to terms with her mother's death. It does take awhile but she reazlied that it was time to come to terms with it. It is never easy but it's awesome to have a good support system.

    1. Something similar to that happened in my neighborhood in 2007, except the wife killed the children and then herself- leaving the husband behind. It was a horrible situation for my neighborhood and my school community. The daughter was the same age as my brother and I had just graduated from the school they attended. Fortunately, the community made it possible for the children to be remembered a in positive light and a scholarship is given every year in honor of them and is presented by their father.
